Financial Options and Policies
Here at Carrollton Obstetrics and Gynecology, payment for services are normally due at the time of the visit unless other arrangements have been made. We accept most PPO insurances. We ask that patients take care of any deductibles or co-pays at the time service is rendered. Fees for special procedures, surgery and obstetrical care will be discussed on an individual basis with each patient.
We do file insurance electronically if we are a participating provider with your insurance company. If pre-certification from your insurance is needed, our office personnel will make arrangements for obtaining pre-certification from your insurance company. We accept cash, checks, Visa and Master Card.
Our general procedure when you visit Carrollton Obstetrics and Gynecology is just bringing in your insurance information for your initial OB/GYN consultation. We ask that you bring all insurance cards with you on your first visit so a copy can be made for your file. A patient's insurance policy is an agreement between them and their insurance company. The responsibility of payment is an obligation of the patient. If our physicians are a PPO with your insurance company, we will file your insurance. However, payment of any deductibles and/or co pays will be expected at the time service is rendered. An assignment will be obtained on your first visit which allows your insurance to pay Carrollton Obstetrics and Gynecology.
